Full Time – Social Media Specialist

Job Description:

Laura Park is seeking a self-motivated, creative individual to enhance our digital presence and grow our community across social media. This role will bring our brand to life, planning and executing engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest to drive brand awareness and sales.  In collaboration with our marketing team, this position will create on-brand content, including TikToks/Reels and iPhone imagery, while also assisting with brand photoshoots, new product launches, and influencer outreach. 

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage a dynamic social media content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest to drive brand awareness and sales. 

• Capture and style compelling on-brand content, including iPhone photography and TikToks/Reels, to engage and grow our audience. 

• Utilize graphic design tools like Canva, Photoshop, and Lightroom to produce visually appealing digital assets. 

• Oversee and manage social media accounts, interact with followers, and build brand loyalty. 

• Track and report performance metrics, analyze engagement data, and adjust strategies to optimize results. 

• Assist with influencer collaborations, giveaways, and PR initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand goals. 

• Support the planning and execution of brand photoshoots and new product launches. 

• Assist in creative execution of paid advertising. 

• Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to align content strategies with inventory flow and promotions. 

• Update digital assets on our website as needed. 

• Travel to key trade shows/markets (Dallas, Atlanta, and High Point) as required. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital marketing (preferably in lifestyle or home decor). 

• Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom) with strong creative and design skills. 

• Content creation expertise, including iPhone photography, video production, and editing. 

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 

• Experience with social media & email platforms (Later, Klaviyo, or similar tools preferred). 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for storytelling and brand building. 

• Ability to measure performance and adjust strategies accordingly. 

• Up-to-date with trends in social media, graphic design, and digital marketing. 

• Team-oriented & adaptable, with a flexible, problem-solving

• Full-time Salary Position (in-person, not a virtual position) 

• Location: Charlotte, NC 

• Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday 

• Offers: Paid Time Off + Virtual Days
